Nestled on a sprawling six acres and surrounded by snow-capped mountain views, The Imperial is believed to be one of the finest townhome communities in South Surrey or at least on Mountain View Drive.
There are a total of 18 visitor parking spaces throughout the complex (8 in 15633, and 10 in 15665).
Every unit has been issued two visitor parking passes. Passes must clearly be displayed between 10:00pm and 7:00am. Lost parking passes can be replaced for a cost of $25. Please contact Taylor Jones to order replacements.
If you have visitors staying and using visitor parking for longer than TWO DAYS, you must request an extension from strata council (contact Taylor Jones); however, residents are encouraged to have their guests use the street parking for longer stays due to the limited nature of parking spaces within the complex.
There are very few spots that must be shared amongst the entire complex, so please be considerate of their usage; if you are having a gathering with many people attending, please ask your guests to park on the street whenever possible. You may also decide to move your own vehicles on the street to provide extra spaces for guests within your driveway and/or garage.
Owners and residents of The Imperial can observe the following, very straightforward rule:
What should I do if I see improper use of visitor parking?
If you observe an owner using visitor parking for their own vehicle, please report it to Taylor Jones. Please include the date, time, location, and ideally a photo showing the vehicle in the spot along with the license plate. The owner's unit number is also an essential piece of information.
Any possible action against an owner who is not respecting the bylaws must be initiated by an owner complaint. The Strata agent and council cannot act without that.
The following reasons are not valid for parking your own vehicle in visitor parking:
A vehicle found in violation of the rules may be towed. Residents should ensure their own vehicles are registered with the Strata so that there may be an attempt to make contact before any action is taken.
Please refer to Bylaw 37 for more details.
