Block Watch at Imperial

Block Watch is a program to help keep our complex safe, and we’d love to have some more Imperial residents join. By signing up as a Block Watch participant you have made a commitment to Observe and Report all suspicious activity occurring in your neighbourhood. It is imperative that you trust your instincts – and if you aren’t sure please call the Surrey RCMP non-emergency number at 604-599-0502 and they will advise you.

Neighbourhood Communication Process

• Victim/Witness reports the crime to the Surrey RCMP 911 or Non-emergency 604-599-0502. (Let the call taker know you’re from Block Watch)
• Alert Randy via email of the crime that occurred
• Randy will cascade the incident to your fellow participants by email (bcc) to alert everyone so that you can further target harden your vehicles, property etc.

Home Insurance Perk

By joining up, you can contact your home insurance provider to advise them you are now a participant of Block Watch #5-507. Depending on your provider you may be entitled to an insurance discount between 5-15%. Should they need confirmation please send me an email with your provider’s info and I will have Leanne with the Surrey RCMP Communities programs contact them.
